Cancellations:
A 50% non-refundable deposit is taken on booking your appointment to secure your spot. This deposit can be transferred to a later date given you have rescheduled the appointment in the 48 hour notice period. Once the deposit has been transferred to a later date, if the appointment is cancelled again, the deposit will be lost. If the deposit is under one person it cannot be transferred to another. If failing to reschedule in the 48 hour notice period and/or you ‘no show’ all monies will be lost with no further rescheduling and the entire booking cost will be taken.
If booking a bridal trial prior to confirming directly with Charlotte Jade Artistry your wedding details and deposit, CJA is not liable and monies will be lost.
The unused deposit will be valid for 6 months to use on another appointment, failing to do so will result in the deposit being lost.
Covid Cancellation Policy:
In the event that an occasion is impacted by Covid-19 or other unforeseen circumstances, the deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to a different makeup appointment date. If your wedding or event is affected by Covid-19, the deposit will remain valid for 12 months. Should you personally contract Covid-19, the deposit will be valid for 6 months . If CJA can not satisfy the rescheduled date, all monies will be lost
Late Policy:
If you are over 15 minutes late to the scheduled makeup application, CJA reserves the right to cancel your appointment and all monies will be lost.
Photo Policy:
Any picture / video taken by CJA with consent of the individual getting their makeup done is allowed to be used for content/ business purposes.
Payment:
The full amount of the application must be transferred on the day of the appointment/ as soon as the appointment is finished or late fee will apply. If someone else is paying, the full amount must be transferred prior to the application.
Incorrect Appointment Selection:
Changes to the appointment type: This should be advised no less than 48 hours in advance, however, this decision will be confirmed with the discretion of Charlotte Jade Artistry and appointment availability. Failure to do will result in original booking being honoured.
E.g. Booking for a “Makeup application Friday and Saturday-only appointment” is requested to be modified to a Makeup application on a weekday with insufficient notification, the appointment will be either kept on the day it was booked or cancelled with no refund or credit.
Responsibility:
Charlotte Jade Artistry is not responsible for any allergies/ reactions/ injuries that may be faced during and following the makeup application.
Weddings:
Wedding bookings will be charged at a minimum of 4 applications and a maximum of six applications. Exceeding six applications, an additional makeup artist assistant is required. This can be confirmed via email with Charlotte. This rate is subject to standard applications. Any special requirements may result in additional charges.
For weddings outside of the Perth Metropolitan, a minimum rate of $1500 is charged.
Behaviour:
Charlotte Jade Artistry reserves the right to terminate the application at any point in time when the customer/associates are behaving inappropriately causing the provider and others to feel uncomfortable/threatened/other. Immediate removal from the studio will be required, hesitation will result in further action being taken. No refund will be provided.
Lash Lifts:
Charlotte reserves the right to refuse the application of individual lashes if the client has undergone a lash lift. This policy is in place because it is not possible to apply lashes effectively on permed lashes.
